Appearance
A very noticeable feature of Opalcloud is her rather short, pushed in face. Her grandfather and aunt had the same looking face as well as her mother has a similar shorter snout. Her sister and two of her brothers though, are not as short as hers. She definitely stands out in a crowd simply for her face. Although it is obviously not extremely uncommon, Opalcloud is still unique looking. She has round chubby like cheeks but small and pointy ears. She usually looks like she smiling and happy.
Her fur is also rather unique too. She is a creamy color, or buff, with very, very faint tabby markings that can only be seen very close us. Even with her off white coloring, she hides well in the white snow during leaf-bare. Since she is a medicine cat though, camouflage isn't necessary. Her fur is thick and soft to the touch. She sometimes has a cloud looking appearance after she gives herself a good grooming. Unfortunately she gets dirty far too easy and it is very noticeable when she is dirty.
Opalcloud looks slightly on the chubby side. Most of which is actually her thick pelt. Some may see her as being lazy because she looks a little bit thicker than the average cat. She does not, however, take more than her share from the prey pile. But with her being less active than the rest of the Clan she is prone to getting a bit chunky during new-leaf and green-leaf but slims down during leaf-fall and leaf-bare. She is average in height but definitely has less muscle mass than a warrior because she does not train constantly like warriors do. She knows defense skills and that is it. Fleeing is her best chance for survival and she knows that.
Opalcloud has beautiful soft copper-orange eyes. They are large and very round. You can usually see right through her just looking into her eyes. When she doesn't want to talk about something she usually just looks at them, showing them with her eyes how she feels. She doesn't need to use many words to show someone how she feels. This becomes a problem when she needs to keep her patients loved ones calm.
Personality
Opalcloud is a usually happy she-cat. Even in the worst situation, she can find something to smile about. She has a calming aura about her. Hectic situations usually don't phase her. When she was an apprentice though, Opalcloud would hide from even the smallest of hiccups in a situation. She wasn't confident as an apprentice but as she grew and with the strong guidence of her mentor, Opalcloud slowly learned how to stay as calm as possible in any kind of situation. With that she has a strong will to help others in any way she can. She isn't one to turn down a helpless or sick cat. Even loners Opalcloud has no problem helping them out if they need it. She doesn't take kindly to those who abuse her help though. She can be a push over sometimes but mostly she will refuse to help those who do not appreciate her help.
Opalcloud is very headstrong. She is not a fan of death, as many are not. She gets upset when things do not go the way she plans them to go. She is very much a planner and plans many situations in her head before they even happen. She doesn't always go by her gut feeling because she believes her plans will always work out. That is not always the case. She does become sometimes bitter after a situation goes wrong. But never does she lash out her anger onto someone else. She's very good at walking away when she needs to cool down before returning with a smile on her face.
When it comes to telling the truth, if it will hurt someone, Opalcloud can be very obscure or vague about it. She will hesitate in answering a scared patient or their loved ones. She does not like to give bad news. Her famous answer to any bad situation is "Everything is perfect, StarClan believes so too." Just because she says that does not mean her patient will die but that it is bad and she is unsure of what will happen. She does not give full answers and sometimes she will lie to give everyone hope. This gives her a bad reputation for lying, even if she thinks lying is for the best. She is good at what she does though and even when she does lie and something goes wrong, she explains why she lied, hoping to be forgiven.
History

Tulipheart didn't fall in love with Blackstone until they were much older. Tulipheart was forty-one moons old while Blackstone was forty-five moons old when they had their first and only kits together. Both had grown up together since they were kits. As kits and eventually apprentices they were the best of friends. They each had their own set of friends but usually they were seen together when not out training with their mentors. Blackstone always loved Tulipheart but she had her eyes on another tom - Wrenfoot. Blackstone kept his love for Tulipheart to himself for a long time. When he decided to tell her it was Tulipheart that blurt out she was going to have Wrenfoot's kits. This devastated Blackstone but he pretended to be happy for his she-cat friend. After that the two drifted a part until her kits became apprenticed and Tulipheart was back to doing her warrior duties. Still Blackfoot kept his distance for awhile. Keeping his distance didn't last long. He finally told Tulipheart how he felt but even though she felt the same, she couldn't leave her mate, Wrenfoot. Wrenfoot being the heroic type, tried to help the other clans after the drought and during the flooding. He saved an apprentice from StoneClan but ended up perishing in the process. Blackstone came to the broken up Tulipheart and picked up all the pieces for her.
Opalkit and Mink-kit were strong healthy kits when they were born. Two moons into their life a weak strain of whitecough got them but they both pulled through. For the rest of their kithood their life was normal. They played and bounced around like normal kits, begging to be apprenticed way before they were ready. Blackfoot was constantly in his kits lives as Tulipheart hoped. Her first set of kits were not happy with their mother and ignored their new siblings and Tulipheart too. They had grown up believing that their parents were going to be together forever, even in StarClan. They never expected her to take on a new mate after their father died. So Opalkit and Mink-kit grew up not knowing they had older siblings.
When their apprentice ceremony began, Opalkit didn't know her future was going to be separate from her brother's. She had no idea of the future StarClan had planned for her. As the leader went around and gave her brother and two other apprentices their new names and mentors, Opalkit felt left out, as if she was not going to be an apprentice. But the leader announced that StarClan had chosen a different path for Opalkit. She was chosen to join the ranks of a Medicine cat. Opalkit was stunned and didn't know how to react. She was not angry but she wasn't completely happy either. It seemed surreal to her and it took her a couple moons before everything sunk in. She was never going to take on a mate, or have kits, and her life was going to be dedicated to the stars. She was unsure if she could do any of that. But her mentor had full confidence in her which pushed Opalpaw to being an excellent apprentice to her mentor. During her time as a medicine cat apprentice she learned of her older siblings. This didn't change her relationship with her parents or brother. She continues to act like her older siblings are nothing more than clanmates who are not fond of her.
It took a total of fifteen moons before Opalpaw became Opalcloud. Only fifteen moons later did Opalcloud lose her mentor to sickness. Diamondpelt suffered long and hard through her sickness, losing her eye sight and a good portion of her memory. This made Diamondpelt move into the elders den. Every once in awhile her memory comes back but not for long. During those short times Opalcloud gets as much out of her old mentor as possible. Lately though, Opalcloud has left her mentor to enjoy the last few moons she has left.
