Play With Meeeeeee! [OPEN]

GAH! It had been awhile since he had been able to just play around. Recently, he had always been worried about what everyone else was up to (snooping around in their business) that he had forgotten to actually be a kit! Blasphemy.

Well today, he just wanted to play. He had heard that Dawnbreeze was only a few days away from kitting and it was exciting! Soon there would be new little ones to play with and learn about. He hopped maybe he could be like a big brother to some of them. Or maybe he would grow close to one of them in the future...

But until then, he had to settle with what he had.

He strolled out of his confinement and went to find a patch of sunlight. That was his favorite place to hang out, especially after his tummy was full! It was just so warm and great.

He looked around the camp, trying to find one of his siblings, an apprentice or maybe even a warrior who was willing to just wrestle with him (or teach him some warrior stuff a bit early!). Although he didn't mind getting up in other cat's business, he really hoped that today, someone would see how bored he was and make the effort to play with him.

After a long feeding, Kalekit was almost ready for a nap. He still had some energy to spare though. The small brown tabby kit watched his brother, Brightkit, leave the nursery. A far as Kalekit knew they were not supposed to leave the nursery unless they were in pairs. Maybe that was just in Kalekit's mind but he was pretty sure his mother had told them that. Kalekit gave himself a few quick licks before dashing out of the den to follow his brother. There was no way Kalekit was going to let his brother get all the attention today.

The little blue eyed kit looked around the busy camp. It was warm outside of the den and Kalekit wasn't a fan. But he was still determined to get some sort of attention today. He bounded forward when he seen Brightkit resting in a sunny patch. That was one thing Kalekit knew, his brother loved the sun. Kalekit never knew exactly why nor did he want to know why.

"Brightkit! Want to play warriors!" He asked loudly, still running with his stubby kit legs.

Brightkit's tail flcked impatiently as he watched a few of the older cats just strut by...like he wasn't even there! He was about to shout 'SOMEONE PLAY WITH ME' when he heard a familiar voice behind him. "Brightkit! Want to play warriors!" His head snapped around to see his brother.

Brightkit wasn't much of a player as a whole but on days like these where he really wanted to play, Warriors was his favorite game. And by the looks of it, Kalekit seemed kind of tired. It would be easy to win! "Sure! Just know I'mma beat you!" He paused for a second then looked over his shoulder at one of the warriors who was leaving camp. "You wanna play battles or mentors?" He didn't really enjoy fighting or the idea of fighting, but when it was just playing around with his brother then it was ok. What he really loved to play was mentor and apprentice! He loved getting to tell his brother what to do (if he was playing mentor) or getting some tips from his brother (if he was playing apprentice). Sometimes, an older cat would take interest and even give them secret tips!

But he would be ok with either game. Or a different one if Kalekit wanted to play something else.
