REASON FOR NAME:HURRICANE;; He was named after the cloud formation before a hurricane because of his fluffy, wispy fur with many tones of gray and white. Also, because his parents hoped he'd grow to be as mighty and feared as the natural disaster he was named after.STRIKE;; his fierce attacks in battle.
Appearance
Right now, Hurricanekit is small and just a ball of fur. His stature is short and stout. Really, most will see him as a chubby little boy with cute eyes and nothing to fear. While some cats have large ears when young, his are tiny little triangles, thick with fur much like the rest of them and almost hidden in the surrounding hair. Right now, Hurricanekit's eyes are at an odd in-between stage in color. While they used to be a baby blue like everyone elses' were when they were born, they are now green from the yellow mixing with the blue. Once he is about 6 to twelve weeks old, they'll be a startling yellow.
As he grows, Hurricanekit will grow into a large, broad-shouldered guy. His fur will get longer and thicker, the gray in his pelt becoming more prominent. With a snout close to his face, he's going to look more like his father while his sister will look like their mother. He has even inherited his father's wide yellow eyes. One thing he did get from Icecloud though was the white in his pelt and a few similarities in build.
Personality
For now, Hurrcanekit is very much a kit. He is full of energy which he often uses for games and figuring ways to win them. This shows his strategic nature beginning to develop. You can see the wheels spinning in his tiny head and it's incredible how easily he tends to make up plans from just observing his opponent and using past experience. This skill is still going through development though seeing as he's merely a moon old. So far it seems to have started off well and will grow quickly, especially in his moons as an apprentice. All he'll need is a good, strict mentor and some encouragement or goal. Right now, the thing that drives him is the dream every cat has had at one time or another: to be leader of his Clan some day. His sister, Frostkit is interested in this as well, so it's very likely they'll butt heads a lot as they grow and maybe even begin to develop a rivalry.
It's already getting hard to fool Hurricanekit. He watches others closely, sometimes even lapsing into a full out gape at the cat who he has taken an interest in. With great scolding from his mother and some teasing from the other kits, he will grow out of this swiftly seeing as he hates to be made a fool of. This is also another reason he's hard to trick. Hurricanekit isn't dumb, he is very inquisitive and isn't afraid to ask questions if he can't figure something out himself. He knows many things about those around him and he is figuring out how to use this to his advantage. If someone lies, he makes note of their lying face or nervous habits used when lying. Why? Well, his parents and the other older cats in the Clan seem to leave him out of a lot. They sugar-coat things when he wants the blatant truth and he has become tired of it. Being able to know and tell them for a fact they aren't telling all of the truth might be able to help him get his questions answered accurately. This curious little fluff-ball is serious when it comes to things that catch his interest and he won't let the subject go until his curiosities are sated.
The voice of reason in times of quarrels tends to be Hurricanekit most of the time. He tires easily of screams going back and forth around him. Since he gets into trouble enough and has already heard more than enough scolding, he wants others to stop so he won't have to hear more of it. Hurricanekit will listen to both sides until he figures he has a valid point to which side is right and steps in, telling them that they're acting like fluff-brains and that it's hard to sleep when their being so loud. He then uses the information he pieced together to sate both fires and separates them so they can completely cool down. This is getting easier as time goes on because of his developing observation and strategy skills that fuel his also building rationality.
Speaking of trouble though, Hurricanekit is curious and often wanders places he shouldn't when trying to figure something that interested him out. Thankfully, this has never taken him out of camp, but he has been found digging around in the warrior, apprentice, and even the elder's den for information. Once, he even tried to climb the rubble pile to check out Falconstar's den. Needless to say, that did not go well. It was lucky his parents had gotten him off of it when they did because he was about to be sent tumbling with the rubble sure to follow and injure. This has gotten him into quite a bit of trouble along with the fact that he asks rude questions when it occurs to him to ask them. Despite that, he still does it and probably will continue to until his mother and father or maybe even future mentor drill it out of him. It will never be completely gone though because of his curious and rash nature.

All of his life so far, Hurricanekit has been told of his great-granduncle, Whitestar. He was the one who founded StoneClan and this amazed both him and Frostkit into wanting to be a leader similar to their ancestor. He has been trying to find out what the leader's den looks like for a long time and hasn't quite gotten the chance yet because he isn't big enough to climb the rubble pile and he always gets into trouble when he tries. One day, he will see it though. Hurricankit just knows he is meant to be leader instead of his sister. Of course, doesn't every kit think that? Well, this little guy is determined to prove himself right despite those who call it a 'cute dream' and such. No matter what, nothing will get in his way, not even Frostkit. This is not to say he won't play fair though. Hurricanekit plans to gain leadership fair and square with no dirty play because he wants to be a good, loyal, and strong warrior like his ancestors and parents.
