TINPAW
STONECLAN x APPRENTICE
BRAVE ● HEADSTRONG ● CONCEITED
General Knowledge
AGE: 8 moons
GENDER: Female
BREED: Bengal mix
SEXUALITY: Heterosexual
REASON FOR NAME:prefix: Her light gray fur resembles the color of the metal, tin.
suffix: “Paw” is the usual suffix for any apprentice.
Appearance
Tinpaw’s coat is that of a light gray tabby, though her tail is significantly darker than the rest of her body. Her tabby markings are somewhat faded in parts, as though they had been bleached away by the sun. Her fur is short but exceptionally soft due to her young age. A clear, mesmerizing light brown tints Tinpaw’s round eyes to the color of chocolate.
This female is average in terms of muscle mass for cats her age, being bigger than her two sisters but smaller than her brother. As she ages, Tinpaw will grow into an athletic build made for running at high speeds. As it stands, her legs already seem much too long and lanky to be allowed. This trait will be advantageous in the future for hunting and fighting.
Personality
Brave: By no means could anyone possibly call Tinpaw a coward. Her courage knows no bounds; in fact, one might think she is too reckless. She is not afraid to throw herself into the middle of a dangerous situation, which she has already proven multiple times while on adventures with her brother and sister. Sometimes, especially now that she is no longer a kit, she feels pressure to live up to her brave reputation. This desire to live up to expectations can cause her to be even more reckless than she already is.
Headstrong: Tinpaw is as stubborn as a mule. Everything must be done her way, with no compromises. The only cat who may be able to persuade her to consider other options is Steelpaw. Otherwise, Tinpaw is determined never to change her mind despite how reasonable another cat’s argument may be.
Conceited: Not many cats are better than Tinpaw at anything… at least, not in her opinion. Despite how blatantly obvious the evidence is to the contrary, Tinpaw tends to usually feel that she is better than everyone at everything. She always has to one-up other cats, especially her siblings. If one of her littermates caught a mouse, she would brag about how she caught three mice yesterday. This trait tends to mean that she over exaggerates events that shed her in a positive light. Her vain personality will fade a little as she gets older and wiser, but she will always be a bit too proud of herself.
History
FAMILY:mother Webstone (living, 35 moons)
father Whitesnow (living, 37 moons)
brother Steelpaw (living, 8 moons)
sister Marblepaw (living, 8 moons)
sister Snowpaw (living, 8 moons)
Tinkit, Marblekit, Snowkit, and Steelkit were all born to Webstone and Whitesnow in a loveless relationship. The four kit’s sole purpose was to provide the clan with strong warriors, and they were all happy to oblige. All except for perhaps Marblekit, who was the quietest and most well-behaved of them all. Tinkit had mistaken this reserved personality as a sign of weakness, and always assumed that she and her other sister and brother would make for better warriors. As it was, Tinkit didn’t interact with Marblekit much and often tried to avoid her in an effort to distance herself from the strange, quiet cat.
Along with Snowkit and Steelkit, Tinkit got into much trouble in her first six moons. Steelkit had always been the leader of their little threesome, but Tinkit didn’t mind this since she looked up to her brother for his strength and charismatic demeanor. She was always trying to prove herself in front of her siblings, particularly Steelkit, which was the initial cause of her reckless behavior around them. It wasn’t long before she gained the reputation of being a fearless cat, a reputation that she still tries to live up to.
Sometime when they were still kits, Snowkit had overheard their parents talking about how Marblekit had the makings of a great warrior. Snowkit had promptly told Tinkit about this, and the young female quickly developed a strong resentment toward Marblekit. In her opinion, Marblekit did not deserve any praise. After all, Tinkit, Steelkit, and Snowkit were the ones who were brave and strong, not their sister. From this moment on, Tinkit promised herself that she would become a better warrior than Marblekit ever could be, and this is the source of her high ambition as an apprentice.
As the four kits moved on to apprenticehood, much changed between Steelpaw, Snowpaw, and Tinpaw. The three were still good friends, but with their new duties they found that they didn’t have as much time for adventures anymore. Tinpaw is now less concerned with having fun and more focused on training to become the best warrior StonClan has ever seen.
