Newleaf, though it held so much promise and beauty, was not without its flaws. This grim fact was demonstrated on this particular day by the ugly, dark clouds that loomed above the eroded church ominously. Bluetwilight was not a fan of the rain. She disliked getting wet and, more importantly, the clouds seemed to sap all energy out of her. Yet warrior duties did not cease when things got a little wet, and it was for this reason that she was in a foul mood. She wasn’t about to let the clan go without food, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t complain about it while she hunted.
Not that there was anyone to complain to; Bluetwilight had shrugged off any offers for company she had received as she left camp. Though some cats may have found it more enjoyable to hunt with a fellow warrior, she preferred not to have anyone else around to make her feel awkward or get in her way. It was much more comfortable for her to be alone, in most cases. As she walked toward the collapsed building, she wondered with a hint of anxiety how she would cope if assigned the task of mentoring an apprentice. She had managed to avoid such a situation thus far in her warrior career, but it was likely that Rushstar would eventually give her a young cat to teach. She did not need to test the theory to know that she would be an awful mentor, and would feel sorry for any poor cat who was assigned to her. Bluetwilight resolved not to think about it, since she figured she could deal with that issue if it ever arose.
Her thoughtful trance was ended swiftly as she accidentally stepped into a muddy puddle. Watch where you’re going, dummy. She scolded herself, shaking off her paw disdainfully. The constant drizzle of rain was light and hardly noticeable, but by this time in the afternoon it had managed to dampen the ground significantly. Bluetwilight hoped that the rain would have caused prey to take shelter under the collapsed ceiling of the church, which was why she had chosen this place to hunt. She did not take into consideration that Stoneclan members may be upset with her hunting in this place, since Pineclan cats believed wholeheartedly that the area belonged to them. So it was without much worry that she began staking out the building, searching for the scent of anything edible.

Rain, thunder, and lightning; three common parts of a storm. He held no love for storms, nor was he afraid of them, and even if he was, he'd never admit it. Not ever. Truth be told, Slatefang hated them with a passion. He wasn't afraid of much, but there was something about this particular type of weather that put him on edge. He couldn't admit it however, his brothers would never let him live it down. Slatefang, the big older brother, frightened by some loud noises and flashing light. It was embarrassing, even he'd admit it. He'd managed to hide from them for most of his life by putting on a mask to hide his fear and keeping to himself on such days.
He'd left camp, choosing to patrol the borders by himself to work off the nervousness that was building inside of him. The warrior was moving quickly, barely standing still for too long. It hadn't rained a lot just enough to leave the ground damp. Still, there was always the chance it could turn to a downpour. The fur along his back was standing up and he was wary of every little sound. He hated how even a light drizzle like this could him on edge. StarClan help him if he ran into a fellow clan member.
His paws led him to the old Church, the border supposedly shared with StoneClan. PineClan considered it all theirs, but the other clan seemed to disagree on this. If one of them had crossed the border, he'd chase them off, unless they were injured or worse. Slatefang was a little softer with outsiders than most of his clan.
The gray warrior padded closer to the abandoned building, recognizing the recent scent that hung in the air. "Bluetwilight," he greeted, making his way towards the other warrior. "What are you doing out here?" Slatefang asked, trying to calm himself down. Foxdung. So much for being alone.

The Domestic Shorthair inched his way forward, taking pride in his strength and power with each long stride. He was far from Domestic, he was free, no matter how much he was locked up in Stone clan territory. He always had to option to leave, to pack up and leave the place where his mother, father and younger siblings took their lasts breaths. A rumble from the sky disturbed his concerted and cause the tom to glance to the blackening sky. A sneaky smirk glanced over his hard face, storms made him think of himself, moving around the place, coming out of nowhere and disappearing in a mist of chaos. Rain wasn't much of a concern to the cat, it was simply water brushing over his pelt, he didn't understand why some would fear or heat it. The refreshing feeling of the silky water running down the length of his body was a luxury to him, it had distracted him from the horrors of death for a while when his mother had given up her life for her kits. His paws glided over the ground, occasionally knocking over the odd sapling that sprung out of the ground. The scent of newleaf bring joy into Darkstripe, for it will be his second time experiencing the abundance of life.
Short of breath, the cat came to the ruin of the church. Darkstripe froze in his tracks, his eye's straining to observe the area, he couldn't be too careful around here, for the area was the close boarders of Pine clan and Stone clan. The place was rightfully belonged to Stone clan, but Pine clan were to stubborn to accept that. That's how he saw it, if it was true or not he didn't know. Darkstripe had been here before, it was fantasizing place that expired the cat, the bright coloured glass that when the sun shone through, it was like when a slight bit of sun came though leaves up on the canopy. The one answer the tom wanted was, who made it? He wasn't stupid and knew that nothing in nature could have created such thing, rocks cut to persisted angles to support one another. But Darkstripe feared he would never find the answer, something that always annoyed him. The tom enjoyed the place though, some place where he can be himself, without trying to get attention from the rest of clan to get noticed.
The tom got a horrible flash back as he came closer to the fallen stones and dangously hanging roof, which he guessed with a strong wind could fall at any moment into dust. Once again Darkstipe mentor's eyes came into his sight, his mind playing tricks on him to prevent his paws from getting any closer. Just as the tom was about to retreat back to the shelter of the clan as a glistening of rain started to fall, his ears picked out the slightest of voices out of the pounding of rain upon the church roof. Excitement an the thought of danger drove the tom forward towards what he feared, the voice was louder now as his head pocked out around the corner to see around on the other side of the church. Before Darkstripe knew, he gasped in shock when his eye's settled upon two cats, both had the scent of Pine clan hanging in the air around them. Cursing under his breath for his bad luck, his gasp had destroyed his chance of surprise and he didn't really want to go up ageist two vs one.
Thoughts swum around his mind, if he drove these two out, what a story he could tell back at camp, then they would have to pay attention to him! The thought gave him courage and made him igornate to what could happen in the worst case for him. Full of self-pride, the cat strolled out into the open, his chest puffed out and head held high. His eyes were held to the sky, not on them, a sign that meant he knew they were there. "Hey! What you doing here in Stone clan territory?" He finally turned and looked at them both, his voice held pride and no fear, the best defence was their intelligence on him, which was none.
Notes: Hope you don't mind me coming in, and sorry if this makes no sense, I've never rped in a warrior cat place before xD

OOC: I don't mind! And it makes perfect sense :)
As Bluetwilight concentrated on locating something to feed to her clan, she did not notice the smell of an approaching cat that was dampened and muffled by the rain. She jumped as the male voice spoke behind her, cursing herself for not being more aware of her surroundings. Had this been an enemy, she would have been crow-food. But, as it was, she was in no danger from her fellow Pineclan member. “Slatefang.” The tortoiseshell female greeted him with a nod while trying to preserve any dignity she might still have. “I am hunting… or at least I would be, if there was any prey around here.” Her voice was quiet as she mumbled the last part. It seemed she was wrong in thinking that prey would be plentiful in the church today, since she had yet to catch the scent of anything edible.
Just as she was about to ask Slatefang the same question that he had asked her, another scent overwhelmed Bluetwilight’s nostrils. This smell was easy to distinguish, since it was the foreign smell of another clan. An intruder?! She whirled around and, sure enough, an unfamiliar cat was approaching the pair of Pineclan warriors. The tabby tom looked haughty as he walked, which only served to make him look like an oversized, strutting bird. Bluetwilight was angered by his confident, self-assured tone, but she knew she had to be smart here. She checked her surroundings diligently, but could not catch any sign of other Stoneclan cats in the vicinity. It seemed that the tabby was outnumbered; however, he looked formidable enough. He certainly seemed to think he could take them on, so it would be best to be careful.
Bluetwilight pulled her lips up into a snarl, but made no move to attack the intruder. “Stoneclan territory, you say? I don’t smell any border markings.” Indeed, the church smelled more like Pineclan than Stoneclan, but that may have only been because Pineclan cats had been there more recently. Her tail lashed back and forth, but she refrained from telling the tabby off. Bluetwilight was not known for her way with words, and she figured it would be best if Slatefang did most of the talking.
