Below is a little thing I put together to help people come up with more organized backgrounds for their characters. Since we know 10 years have passed, I put down 10 outlines from year 0 when the cats settled to year 11, which is the current year. Each outline will mark notable disasters, occurrences, or important mentions. More or less a loose Gathering Overview.
The best part is, things mentioned in character's histories will make it here as well. So if your cat makes a note that there was a blizzard during his birth, it will be posted up here so every cat alive at that time knows about the blizzard and can relate. This way too we don't have 6 separate fires, 14 snow storms, or 11 rogue attacks happening at different times. Since these events are rather large, they would likely affect other cats as well.
I have also added some of my own events to get the ball rolling. If you have any suggestions for an event, let me know. However keep in mind that every moon shouldn't have a LARGE disaster. Otherwise that would be kinda silly. Also this only mentions major events, so it won't mention every cat death but it will mention a leader's death. |
