Thatchpaw && Mallowpaw
They are siblings that are slowly growing apart (because she found out before her apprenticeship that her mother might have slept with another tom to have this litter... as I wrote it, she does indeed have a different father than the rest of their litter, so they are more like half siblings, but they don't say it.) I'd love to see them become closer again, on a side note if she sees him sneaking out of camp with other apprentices she might follow them... which will in the end do her some good.

I think it would do both of them some good if they got closer together again. While Mallowpaw seems to be somewhat torn about having a different father from the rest of her family, Thatchpaw has somewhat of a... I guess you could call it a self-esteem issue because of his size as well as the fact that he isn't likely to get much bigger. With his constant trying to be perfect, he's going to be making a lot of mistakes, which, in turn, will lead him to moping about in 'private' and beating himself up emotionally about not being as good. They could both definitely do a little bit of good for each other and I'd hope to see them eventually have a very close brother/sister friendship. Also, it would be a lot of fun to see how things would turn out if she followed him out when one of the other apprentices convince him to explore with them. xD All the trouble these two could get into together would be a load of fun.

Maybe Mallowpaw follows after him one day and sees him beating himself up. She'd be confused because he is their brother's favorite and she has no favorites in the family and that her being there can start them becoming closer again. Oh yes she will follow him out of camp if she notices him leaving and if they get in trouble that is fine, if they get away with it that is also fine. On a side note even if she isn't close with him if anybody picks on her brother she will defend him. Please invite me in the thread (by pm) when it has been made.

Just to make sure we're clear, it's verbal, not physical! So it would be more her following him and hearing him talk about it. He's often looking towards the stars, as if talking to them. Or, well, more like talking at them. As if they'll boost him back up somehow. Being a favorite doesn't always mean you won't feel some sort of anguish. =P He's kind of scared to talk about his insecurities to others, which is probably the only reason why he tries to do it when no one else is around or can hear him. But yes. Her being there, hearing these things said aloud, could definitely help in starting to get them closer! ^.^ I can get a thread started sometime early this week and I'll send you a PM the second it's done if you'd like! I know you'll be out but at least it will be there for you when you return.

Oh I see, I thought you meant the poor kitty would be hurting himself and not verbally I'm glad that I now understand what you meant by that. xD Yes she followed him and heard him yelling out at the stars when nobody else is around and starts talking with him. She doesn't understand how he feels because she never felt unhappy with a favorite before so she thinks him having a favorite helps him feel happier... as for the thread I'm sure I'll be on to catch it, just had to post it so that everybody knows why I went poof. Thanks I'll be sure to check my pms often.
