Oneeye && Slatefang
They would've been warriors together before he had to retire I believe. And if they were friends before that, then Slatefang would make sure that it didn't end just because he became an elder. I"m going to try and throw him in One-eye's current thread, so maybe they are close friends despite the 20ish moon difference?

That'd be cool. One-eye had a pretty big gap between apprentices which meant he spent a lot of time watching others train so maybe he was around when Slatefang was training and they became friends then.
